On Friday, Jan. 31, former St. Joseph High School standout Ashlynne Vote’s current college team, the Arkansas–Monticello Cotton Blossoms, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Missouri Southern State Lions.

The game took place at Branson RecPlex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Cotton Blossoms’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Delta University Field against Delta State Lady Statesmen.
