The University of Central Arkansas Bears men’s basketball team will host the University of North Florida Osprey on Saturday at the Farris Center. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Central Arkansas enters the matchup with an 8-10 overall record and a 3-2 mark in ASUN Conference play. The Bears have won three out of five previous meetings against North Florida, including a one-point victory last year in Conway where Cole McCormick contributed 19 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

The Bears are coming off a comeback win over Jacksonville on Thursday night. They overcame a ten-point halftime deficit and trailed by as many as fifteen points in the second half. Freshman Luke Moore led the team with a career-high 19 points and made all three of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Compared to last season, Central Arkansas has reached its third conference win and eighth overall win earlier this year. In ASUN games so far, they have averaged 78.6 points per game while allowing 75.8 points to opponents. Camren Hunter is averaging 19.2 points per game in conference play, while Ty Robinson is contributing 17.6 points per game.

North Florida arrives with a 3-15 overall record and a 1-4 conference record after securing their first ASUN win against North Alabama. Through five league games, they have been outscored by an average margin but are shooting efficiently: hitting 45% from the field, 35% from three-point range, and converting free throws at an 85% rate. Kamrin Oriol leads UNF in scoring during conference games with an average of 22.8 points per game along with 4.6 assists.

Saturday’s contest will be broadcast live on ESPN+, The Bear 91.3 FM, Jack 92.7 FM, and live stats will be available online.
