The Central Arkansas Bears men’s basketball team will play their first home game of the 2025-2026 season on Saturday, November 8, at 1 p.m. The game will be held at the Farris Center in Conway, where they will face the Champion Christian College Tigers.
Last season, these two teams played in Conway, with the Bears winning that matchup by a score of 120-54.
Central Arkansas began its current season with a road game against the #25 North Carolina Tar Heels at the Dean Smith Center. In that contest, Javion Guy-King led the Bears with 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Cole McCormick contributed nine points and four rebounds. Rashad Bolden and Ty Robinson each added eight points. The Bears are seeking their first win of the season after dropping their opener.
Champion Christian College enters Saturday’s game with a 2-0 record. The Tigers recently secured victories in Pensacola, Florida: a 74-61 win over Pensacola Christian and a 99-72 victory against Trinity Baptist College. The Tigers compete as members of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and regularly play opponents from various organizations including NCAA Division I and II, NAIA, and ACCA.
