The University of Central Arkansas Bears men’s basketball team will host the Bellarmine University Knights on Wednesday night at the Farris Center in Conway. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

This matchup marks the second meeting between the two teams this season. In their previous contest in Louisville, Bellarmine secured an overtime victory with a score of 84-78. During that game, Ty Robinson led Central Arkansas with 24 points and nine rebounds. Camren Hunter recorded a double-double, contributing 20 points and ten rebounds. Javion Guy-King forced overtime by hitting a three-pointer with four seconds left and finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Central Arkansas enters Wednesday’s game after playing four games in eight days due to a rescheduled match against North Alabama (UNA). The Bears are currently on an eight-game winning streak, including four consecutive road wins, most recently defeating UNA on Monday.

Camren Hunter has been leading the Bears offensively, averaging 26.2 points per game over his last five outings and setting his season high twice during this period with 32 points against Eastern Kentucky and Lipscomb. Other players contributing double-digit scoring averages in ASUN Conference play include Ty Robinson (14.3), Luke Moore (11.1), and Cole McCormick (11.8). As a team, Central Arkansas is averaging 84 points per ASUN game while shooting 48 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range, and 74 percent from the free throw line.

Bellarmine comes into the contest riding its own winning streak, having won four straight games and five of its last six overall. The Knights have four players averaging double figures in conference play: Jack Karasinski leads with 18.6 points per game; Brian Waddell adds 14.7; Kenyon Goodin scores 13.7; and Tyler Doyle contributes 10.7 points per outing. Bellarmine is averaging 81 points per ASUN game while shooting 52 percent from the field, making nearly 39 percent of their three-point attempts, and converting on 75 percent of their free throws.
