The Central Arkansas Bears men’s basketball team is set to face the North Texas Mean Green in Denton, Texas, on Thursday, November 20. The game will take place at The Super Pit with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. This matchup marks the second time the two programs have met; their previous encounter was in 2013 when North Texas secured a 64-55 victory.

Central Arkansas enters the game with a 1-3 record and is coming off an overtime loss to Samford. Despite the defeat, the Bears led in most statistical categories and had what was described as their best performance of the season so far. Cam Hunter led the Bears with 26 points, while Javion Guy-King added 13 points. North Texas holds a 3-2 record but is looking to recover after an 80-49 loss at Saint Mary’s in their last outing. The Mean Green are shooting 41% overall and 38% from beyond the arc this season. Je’shawn Stevenson leads UNT with an average of 14.8 points per game, followed by Will McClendon at 13 points per game.
