The Central Arkansas Bears women’s beach volleyball team will travel to Baton Rouge for the Battle of the Bayou, hosted by Louisiana State University on April 10 and 11. The event will see the Bears face several opponents over two days as they look to maintain their momentum this season.
The tournament begins Friday, April 10, with Central Arkansas playing LSU Beach Volleyball at 11:45 a.m., followed by a match against Spring Hill Beach Volleyball at 3:30 p.m. On Saturday, the team will take on Texas A&M–Corpus Christi Beach Volleyball at 9:15 a.m. and close out the weekend facing New Orleans Beach Volleyball at 11:45 a.m.
With four matches scheduled in just two days, Central Arkansas is expected to be challenged by quick turnarounds and a variety of opponents. The coaching staff said this stretch offers an important chance for players to build consistency and strengthen team chemistry as they continue through their season.
