The Central Arkansas cross country teams are set to compete in the 2025 Crimson Classic, which will be hosted by the University of Alabama. The event will take place in Alabama, with the men’s 8k race scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the women’s 6k at 9:20 a.m.

In their previous competition, the men’s team finished 22nd at the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri. Jack Dingman was the top finisher for Central Arkansas, placing 81st overall. Three team members—Trae Baker, Ky Bickford, and William Hill—achieved personal bests in that race.

The women’s team finished 15th in the same event. Madeline Hill led the team with a 19th-place finish, while Arizona Blankenship also placed in the top 100, finishing 92nd.

Central Arkansas aims to build on these performances as they prepare for the upcoming ASUN Championships in the next few weeks.

The men’s race on Friday will feature 215 runners from 20 schools, while the women’s race will include 222 runners representing 23 schools. Live results from the event will be available at https://live.pttiming.com/xc-ptt.html?mid=8192
