Central Arkansas secured a 92-65 win over Eastern Washington on Saturday night at the Farris Center in Conway, Arkansas. With this victory, Central Arkansas improved its record to 2-4, while Eastern Washington dropped to 1-5.
Central Arkansas built an early lead in the first half, starting with a tip-in by Malchiah Marable and extending to an 11-0 advantage after a three-pointer from Harrison Beauchamp assisted by Ty Robinson. The home team forced 13 turnovers in the first half and finished the period ahead 45-27.
Eastern Washington attempted to narrow the gap with scoring efforts from Stratton Rogers and Johnny Radford but struggled against Central Arkansas’s defense. In total, Central Arkansas scored 38 points off turnovers and recorded 14 steals during the game.
The second half saw Central Arkansas extend its lead further with a quick run led by Camren Hunter and Ty Robinson. Hunter was effective inside, while Robinson contributed both offensively and defensively. Cole McCormick added a fast-break three-pointer late in the game as Central Arkansas maintained control throughout.
Camren Hunter led all scorers with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting and collected two steals. Ty Robinson contributed 18 points—including four three-pointers—and five steals. Luke Moore added 12 points and three assists, while Malchiah Marable had four points, four steals, and five rebounds.
Central Arkansas will next play against Eastern Illinois on Tuesday, November 25 at home in Conway.
