Central Arkansas extended its winning streak to nine games with an 84-76 victory over Bellarmine on Wednesday night at the Farris Center. The Bears, now 16-10 overall and 11-2 in ASUN play, sit in second place in the conference standings, two wins ahead of third.

The first half was closely contested, with Bellarmine holding a narrow 34-33 lead at halftime. Kenyon Goodin made several three-pointers for the Knights, including one late in the half that helped keep his team ahead. Central Arkansas responded as Ty Robinson hit a fast-break three-pointer late in the period to briefly give the Bears the lead. Bellarmine regained the advantage before halftime with two free throws by Brian Waddell.

In the second half, Central Arkansas overcame an early deficit. Malchiah Marable contributed with a dunk and late free throws to help maintain momentum for the home team. The team also surpassed its average from beyond the arc, making 12 three-point field goals compared to their season average of just under 11 per game.
