Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center ranked as the third largest nursing home in Faulkner County during the first quarter of 2026, data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) shows.
The facility reported 105 available beds in the first quarter, which is five fewer than the county average. On average, the center served 67.5 residents during this period.
The CMS assigned Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center an overall rating of 3 out of 5, which is below the Arkansas nursing home average of 3.4.
Within the quarter, Heritage Living Center was the largest nursing home in Faulkner County with 140 beds, while Superior Health & Rehab, LLC followed with 118 beds.

Estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau indicate that the older adult population in the U.S. is increasing, while younger demographic groups continue to decline. Between 2020 and 2024, Americans age 65 and older grew by 13%, whereas the population under 18 decreased by 1.7%. Over the past 100 years, the country’s older adult population climbed significantly, reaching more than 61 million by 2024 from 4.9 million in 1920.
A 2021 study found that close to half of these older adults, or roughly 28 million individuals, may require long-term services and support. In addition, the report projected that over a third of this group could eventually need nursing home care.
“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, an insurance education group. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
