On Friday, Feb. 14, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Central Oklahoma Bronchos.

The game took place at Gerry Pinkston Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bronchos this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
