On Friday, Feb. 7, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Bentonville High School. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Gerry Pinkston Stadium against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
