On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Missouri Southern State Lions.

The game took place at Branson RecPlex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex against Augustana Vikings.
