On Friday, Jan. 31, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Drury Panthers.

The game took place at Branson RecPlex. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. at Branson RecPlex against Missouri Southern State Lions.
