On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.

The game took place at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. at Dawson Field at the Mulerider Softball Complex against Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders.
