On Friday, March 7, former Morrilton Senior High School standout Sophia Wahrmund’s current college team, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Arkansas–Monticello Cotton Blossoms.

The game took place at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cotton Blossoms this season.

The Golden Suns’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m. at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex against Arkansas–Monticello Cotton Blossoms.
