CONWAY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Downtown Conway Family and Friends 3-Mile Ride to be held Oct. 9

Bikestation 1000x667

Conway Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Downtown is one of Conway’s best destinations for cycling, and the Downtown-Old Town Route features some of the area’s finest sights.

This ride will begin and end at the First Security Bank Downtown (1001 Front Street) location. With low vehicular traffic and new bike lanes, enjoy views of the picturesque historic homes and churches along the avenue.

At approximately 3 miles long, this route is the perfect sample of everything Downtown and Old Town Conway have to offer.

All cyclists are required to wear a helmet and a parent/guardian will be required to sign a waiver of liability for each child participating.

Join us after the ride for burgers and brats served by First Security Bank and The Teal Grill from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This ride is part of Conway Regional Health System Biketoberfest, a month-long celebration of the cycling community in Conway.

Conway Regional Health System Biketoberfest highlights rides that include long-distance, mountain biking, gravel and leisure rides, group rides and popular routes and provide cycling tips, nutrition and wellness information, and expertise from Conway Regional physicians.

It also features four weekly themes: introduction to cycling, exploring your city through family and community rides, corporate wellness and community resources.

Biketoberfest is presented by the Conway Convention and Visitors Bureau, Caldwell Toyota, First Security Bank and Meridian Investment Advisors.
