Arkansas Department of Commerce - Conway Local Office issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
Last night, we got to recognize some outstanding members of Conway's business community at our annual Diversity in Business Awards, which aims to foster growth and sustainability of underrepresented businesses and recognize the individuals behind them.
This year's winners were:
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Pastor Cornell Maltbia, True Holiness Saints Center, Inc.
• Outstanding Business Executive: Raju Vyas, Home2 Suites by Hilton Conway
• Outstanding Young Professional: Arturo Moraga, Simmons Bank
• Outstanding Business: YGFBFKitchen Restaurant & Catering
Our Diversity in Business Awards is presented by Northwestern Mutual, Conway Regional Health System, and Conway Corporation. Diversity in Business advocates included Acxiom, Arvest Bank, Candlewood Suites Conway, Comfort Inn & Suites, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Conductor, FAB&T, Kanga Studio, Nabholz Corporation, Partners Bank, Simmons Bank, and the University of Central Arkansas.
