The Construction Specialist - General plays a critical role in the operations of citywide sanitation services, as this position is fundamental to landfill operations. This position is multi-skilled and specialized to include such duties as the operation and maintenance of heavy motorized equipment and landfill grade management. S/he ensures all working areas are clean and fully functioning and maintains safety and professionalism as priorities in all aspects of daily work. The Construction General is an entry-level position within the landfill operations division of the Conway Department of Sanitation.
