St. Joseph Church – Conway issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.
Caryn Hoyt offers hope through baby Gemma’s story If you are a parent or grandparent who has lost a child or grandchild at any age, including by miscarriage or stillbirth, please join us for a special memorial service on Sunday December 5th at 3:30 PM at St. Joseph in the Chapel. This year we are blessed to have Caryn Hoyt, wife, mother, and parishioner, to speak about God’s mighty but gentle hand working through the short life of her baby Gemma. Her message will bring hope to others who have lost a child. To register for this service, you may call or send a text to Helena Reynaud at 501-733-8178. Besides the inspirational talk by Caryn, there will be scripture, a litany of remembrance with candle-lighting, music, and prayer to make this a fitting celebration to honor the memory of your precious child(ren). You will also receive a Christmas keepsake ornament to take home for your tree. The Beacon of Hope Ministry is pleased to offer this annual event in place of the former Children’s Christmas Remembrance Tree.
