University of Central Arkansas issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.
The University of Central Arkansas Reynolds Performance Hall presents “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” at 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.
“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” is a pop culture phenomenon that explodes onto the stage, updated for a whole new generation, with imaginative image projections and a rock’n’roll feel. The show centers around Tom, a nervous young man on his first day of being a teacher, who turns on the television to calm himself down and is visited by three aspects of his personality who remind him how learning can be fun.
The Emmy Award-winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon series taught history, grammar, math and more through clever and tuneful songs. Attendees can enjoy memorable favorites such as “Conjunction Junction” and “Just a Bill” along with other sing-a-long songs from the show.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. Tickets may be purchased online at uca.edu/Reynolds, at the Reynolds Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling UCA Ticket Central at (501) 450-3265 or toll-free at (866) 810-0012.
