Conway High School issued the following announcement on Mar. 19.
English teachers at CHS and CJHS got a BIG surprise this week: PERSONALIZED first-edition copies of the finalist for the National Book Award, Cloud Cuckoo Land by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Anthony Doerr! Doerr won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for All the Light We Cannot See.
There are few things English teachers love more than the written word, so personalized, signed editions of Doerr's masterpiece is a fitting way to express appreciation for teachers' incredible work and service to students.
We are thankful to Anthony Doerr for his generosity and for his recognition of our teachers' dedication to educating our wonderful students.
