Conway Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 15.
This week the Conway Area Leadership Institute met for its economic development session. Participants heard from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and Arkansas Department of Transportation, as well as executives from the Conway Development Corporation.
In the afternoon, the class took part in a futures game simulation with CDI Central, where groups were responsible for the decision-making of a fictional town in Arkansas. The decisions the groups made impacted future conditions for their towns and forced the groups to weigh short-term and long-term outcomes with each issue.
