Earlier this year, the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce established the Launch Conway Fellowship program in partnership with the University of Central Arkansas and local employers to retain graduates in the regional workforce. During the fall semester, fellows attended monthly sessions focused on career education and personal and professional development.
This month, the inaugural cohort's experience culminated with a speed-interviewing event where fellows interviewed with Acxiom, Arkansas Center for Data Sciences, Cintas, and Gainwell Technologies. In 2023, Launch Conway will continue as the newly named Conway Collegiate Leadership Institute, and there will be a spring and fall cohort.
Arvest Bank will serve as our 2023 program underwriter increasing our ability to offer fellows experiential learning opportunities and expand the regional workforce. The Chamber's Talent Underwriters provide additional program support.
