Project Introduction: The Morrilton Municipal Airport Commission (MMAC) invites and welcomes proposals for lease of the city’s large hangar located at its airport (KBDQ). We seek to create a mutually beneficial agreement with business and/or industry by entering a lease agreement for commercial aviation activities. The hangar is 14,000 sq ft and features a 100 x 140 ft drive thru, dual 80 x 24 ft powered doors, 2200 sq ft of newly renovated office space and 2200 sq ft of storage/work space. The airport has a 4000 x 75 ft runway located 45 miles NW of Little Rock and 3 miles from I-40 exit 108.

Project Proposal Expectations: MMAC shall award the lease agreement to the proposal that best accommodates the selection criteria listed below. MMAC will also consider bidder’s ability to create local employment opportunities, increase in airport flight activities, fuel sales, and tax generation.

Proposal Selection Criteria: The MMAC has determined during its public meetings that an aviation driven industry/operation is the best use of the airport hangar. Accordingly, bidders must have extensive experience in commercial aviation services such as, but not limited to, general aviation maintenance, flight training, charter, or corporate aviation operations. Proposals should include bidder background and knowledge of aviation business operation and listing his/her corporate structure and financial history.

Summary of Bidder Background: Bidder should list partnerships, employment history, FAA certificates/ratings and other areas deemed pertinent by MMAC.

Financial Information: Please provide summary of financial history to include bankruptcies, liens, pending litigation and any current investigations.
