Faulkner County’s 93 coaches earned an average salary of $45,471 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the ninth highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Arkansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Faulkner County is home to three post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, University of Central Arkansas stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $74,435.

Male coaches of men's teams received $42,341 on average in Faulkner County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $33,030.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
